Putin: Moscow, Beijing not building any military alliances along lines of “Cold War”

MOSCOW, - Russian President Vladimir Putin said on Wednesday that Russia and China do not establish military alliances similar to the alliances that existed during the Cold War.

Moscow and Beijing are developing bilateral economic cooperation effectively, are working together at the international level, and in international organizations, as cooperation within the framework of regional groupings that are expanding in scope and comprehensiveness, such as the Shanghai Cooperation Organization and the BRICS, is of interest to both countries, he added.
