Doha: The State of Qatar has issued a strong condemnation of statements made by the Israeli Minister of Justice regarding the annexation of the occupied West Bank. Qatar views these statements as an extension of the occupation's settlement, colonial, and discriminatory policies, which they assert are a clear breach of international law and United Nations Security Council Resolution 2334.
According to Emirates News Agency, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Qatar, through a statement disseminated by Qatar News Agency (QNA), emphasized the urgent necessity for international community solidarity to address the occupation's escalating policies, which pose a threat to regional security.
The Ministry reaffirmed Qatar's unwavering and consistent support for the Palestinian cause and the resilience of the Palestinian people. This support is grounded in international legitimacy resolutions and the two-state solution, which advocates for the establishment of an independent Palestinian state based on the 1967 borders, with East Jerusalem as its capital.
