RAK Chamber and Kuwaiti Consul-General Discuss Trade Cooperation

Ras Al Khaimah: Mohamed Ali Musabbeh Al Nuaimi, Chairman of the Ras Al Khaimah Chamber of Commerce and Industry, praised the strong and enduring ties between the UAE and Kuwait, highlighting the fruitful cooperation between both countries, especially in the trade sector. This came during his meeting with Khalid Abdulrahim Al Zaabi, Consul-General of the State of Kuwait in Dubai and the Northern Emirates.

According to Emirates News Agency, the meeting was also attended by two members of the Kuwaiti Consulate and other officials. The discussion focused on enhancing bilateral cooperation between Ras Al Khaimah and Kuwait in the areas of trade and economic integration. The parties also explored mechanisms for facilitating Kuwaiti companies' participation in investment opportunities within Ras Al Khaimah.

Al Nuaimi drew attention to the longstanding and distinguished trade relations between the UAE and Kuwait. He noted that the Chamber aims to boost Kuwaiti involvement in available opportunities, particularly for small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) in the technology and digital sectors. Several Kuwaiti companies have already gained strong positions in the UAE market, he added.

He further stated that most Kuwaiti investments are currently concentrated in the UAE's real estate sector, with expectations for significant growth in 2025. This optimism is driven by a major boom in Gulf investments and widespread confidence in the stability and dynamism of the UAE economy.

The Kuwaiti Consul General emphasised the depth of the fraternal and steadfast UAE-Kuwait relations, supported by shared visions and a commitment to collaboration across all fields. He added that the economic partnership between the two nations is further strengthened by their joint membership in the Industrial Partnership for Sustainable Economic Development.
