RAK Ruler Pardons 411 Prisoners Ahead of Eid Al Adha

Ras Al Khaimah: H.H. Sheikh Saud bin Saqr Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Ras Al Khaimah, has ordered the release of 411 prisoners ahead of Eid Al Adha. The decision underscores the ruler's commitment to providing pardoned inmates a chance to begin anew, while also fostering stability within their families.

According to Emirates News Agency, H.H. Sheikh Mohammed bin Saud bin Saqr Al Qasimi, Crown Prince of Ras Al Khaimah, has instructed the relevant authorities to carry out the necessary legal procedures to implement Sheikh Saud's directive. This move is seen as a reflection of the leadership's dedication to societal reintegration and familial harmony.

Hasan Saeed Mehaimed, the Attorney-General of Ras Al Khaimah, commented on the gesture, emphasizing that it highlights Sheikh Saud's intention to assist inmates in rejoining society and bringing joy to their families and loved ones.
