Ras al khaimah: H.H. Sheikh Saud bin Saqr Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Ras Al Khaimah, received a delegation of ambassadors from European Union member states at his palace in Saqr bin Mohammed City. The ambassadors visited to extend their greetings and discuss enhancing cooperation between Ras Al Khaimah and EU countries.
According to Emirates News Agency, H.H. Sheikh Saud bin Saqr Al Qasimi emphasized Ras Al Khaimah's commitment to fostering strong relations with European Union nations in multiple sectors. He highlighted the ongoing growth and development in these partnerships, particularly in sectors such as sustainable tourism, advanced manufacturing, and renewable energy.
H.H. Sheikh Saud stressed the importance Ras Al Khaimah places on strengthening international relations, noting that collaboration with the European Union is a top priority. He acknowledged the EU's significant role in supporting economic, cultural, and technological development, which aligns with the emirate's focus on attracting foreign investment and enhancing its business environment.
He remarked, "Our vision in the emirate is based on building solid partnerships founded on mutual respect and shared ambition. Through strengthening these international relations, we seek to secure a bright and prosperous future for the people of Ras Al Khaimah and to actively participate in global dialogues concerned with progress, stability, and sustainable development."
The EU ambassadors expressed appreciation for the warm reception by the Ruler of Ras Al Khaimah and lauded the robust bilateral relations between the UAE and EU countries. They acknowledged the significant development in Ras Al Khaimah and confirmed their countries' dedication to furthering collaboration in areas of mutual interest.
