Ajman: H.H. Sheikh Humaid bin Rashid Al Nuaimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Ajman, recently welcomed a delegation from the Endowments and Minors' Trust Foundation (Awqaf Dubai) at the Ruler's Court. The delegation was led by Essa Al Ghurair, Chairman of the Foundation's Board of Directors. The meeting was also attended by H.H. Sheikh Ammar bin Humaid Al Nuaimi, Crown Prince of Ajman and Chairman of Ajman Executive Council.
According to Emirates News Agency, H.H. Sheikh Humaid emphasized the importance of endowment projects as essential components of social development in the UAE. These projects provide vital support across multiple sectors, including education, healthcare, and social care, benefiting the broader society. He highlighted how the UAE's pioneering model of endowment work is admired across the Islamic world, attributing it to the nation's vision that embeds generosity and social solidarity as core principles of national development.
The Ruler of Ajman commended the innovative and sustainable projects by the Dubai Endowments and Minors' Funds Management Foundation, acknowledging their role in empowering humanitarian work and directing endowment revenues toward charitable and community needs. He noted that 'Awqaf Dubai' leads in promoting the culture of endowment and raising public awareness through creative initiatives that establish the concept of endowment as a sustainable development model focused on human welfare.
During the meeting, a presentation was reviewed on the foundation's ongoing endowment projects and their contributions to supporting education and healthcare. Notably, these sustainable initiatives assist students in their educational pursuits and provide medical aid to numerous patients in need.
The meeting concluded with H.H. Sheikh Humaid bin Rashid Al Nuaimi receiving the 'Dubai Endowment Sign', awarded by the Mohammed bin Rashid Global Centre for Endowment Consultancy, a part of Dubai Endowments. This recognition was given to the Humaid Bin Rashid Al Nuaimi Foundation for its significant role in developing and supporting both traditional and innovative endowment initiatives.
