Saif Alalawi Wins Zayed Charity Run in Beijing, Suhail Albiloshi Claims Second

Beijing: Saif Alalawi emerged victorious in the Zayed Charity Run held in Beijing, China, this morning. The event, which featured a 10 km race, attracted significant participation and showcased additional categories, including a 5 km family run, a 2.8 km race for People of Determination, and a pioneering 2.8 km robot race.

According to Emirates News Agency, UAE athletes dominated the 10 km race, with Saif Alalawi securing first place, closely followed by Suhail Albiloshi in second, and Saoud Alzaabi in third. The races commenced with the presence of eminent figures such as Hussain bin Ibrahim Al Hammadi, UAE Ambassador to China, Lt. Gen. (retired) Mohamed Helal Alkaabi, Chairman of the Higher Organising Committee of the Zayed Charity Run, and Aref Hamad Al Awani, General Secretary of the Abu Dhabi Sports Council, alongside several Chinese officials.

Following his victory, Alalawi expressed his happiness about competing in Beijing and his pride in achieving first place for the second time, having previously won the last Abu Dhabi edition. He highlighted the event as a reflection of the UAE's dedication to global humanitarian initiatives.

The Zayed Charity Run saw participation from 242 individuals representing the UAE, including embassy staff, Emirati students, and members of various UAE clubs and institutions.
