Abu dhabi: The UAE Public Prosecution took part in the 7th Meeting of Heads of Prosecution Services of BRICS Countries, which was recently chaired by Brazil's Federal Public Prosecutor's Office.
According to Emirates News Agency, the meeting was conducted via videoconference and focused on the theme 'Artificial Intelligence and Justice: Strategies for Legal Security, Ethics, and International Cooperation'. It gathered heads and representatives from the prosecution authorities of BRICS member states.
During its participation, the UAE Public Prosecution emphasized its ongoing dedication to integrating modern technological advancements, specifically the use of artificial intelligence in prosecutorial functions. The UAE also highlighted its support for collaborative initiatives designed to enhance the rule of law, protect rights, and advance criminal justice.
