Moscow: Vladimir Putin, President of the Russian Federation, received H.H. Lt. General Sheikh Saif bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of the Interior, marking the conclusion of Sheikh Saif's official visit to Russia. During the meeting, Sheikh Saif conveyed the warm regards of President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan and expressed his wishes for continued progress and prosperity for President Putin and the people of the Russian Federation.
According to Emirates News Agency, the discussions highlighted the historic relations between the two nations and emphasized the importance of their partnership in promoting international peace and fostering global solidarity. The leaders reviewed several bilateral projects and joint initiatives in the security and law enforcement sectors. These included positive outcomes of mutual cooperation, the launch of the strategic police dialogue, and ongoing joint training in child protection. They also explored ways to further strengthen these efforts in pursuit of the shared vision of both countries' leadership.
Also present at the meeting was Dr. Mohammed Ahmed Al Jaber, Ambassador of the UAE to the Russian Federation.
