Saif bin Zayed Meets Uzbek Minister of Internal Affairs to Enhance Security Cooperation

Abu dhabi: Lieutenant General H.H. Sheikh Saif bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior, recently met with Aziz Tashbulatov, the Minister of Interior of the Republic of Uzbekistan. This meeting highlights the dedication of both nations' leadership to fostering collaboration and fortifying their strategic partnership, emphasizing the necessity for integrated efforts to enhance security and contribute to a more balanced global system.

According to Emirates News Agency, the discussions between H.H. Sheikh Saif bin Zayed Al Nahyan and the Uzbek Minister focused on bolstering security cooperation amidst current regional and international developments. They addressed the challenges posed by transnational threats, particularly organized crime, cybersecurity issues, and the dangers of extremism. The dialogue underscored the importance of leveraging advanced technologies and artificial intelligence to advance police work, improve preparedness, and enhance the efficiency of security systems.

Attending the meeting were Major General Ahmed Saif bin Zaitoun Al Muhairi, Commander-in-Chief of Abu Dhabi Police; Major General Salem Ali Mubarak Al Shamsi, Assistant Under-Secretary for Resources and Support Services at the Ministry of Interior; Major General Dr. Ahmed Zaal Al Muhairi, Deputy Commander-in-Chief of Dubai Police for Financial and Administrative Affairs; and several officers.
