Saud bin Saqr Attends UAE National Orchestra Concert in Ras Al Khaimah

Ras al khaimah: H.H. Sheikh Saud bin Saqr Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Ras Al Khaimah, attended a concert by the UAE National Orchestra held at the Ras Al Khaimah Cultural Center, affiliated with the Ministry of Culture. The event, titled 'The Beginning,' attracted a diverse audience.

According to Emirates News Agency, the event was attended by Sheikh Salem bin Khalid Al Qasimi, Minister of Culture, Sheikh Fahim bin Sultan Al Qasimi, Sheikh Khalid bin Saqr Al Qasimi, and Sheikha Alya bint Khalid Al Qasimi, Director General of the UAE National Orchestra. Senior officials, music and arts enthusiasts, and community members were also present.

H.H. Sheikh Saud highlighted that the concert reflects the depth of Emirati culture and creative heritage. He emphasized the role of music and arts in preserving national identity and strengthening its societal presence.

He pointed out that the UAE National Orchestra is a valuable addition to the cultural landscape of the country. It brings orchestral music closer to audiences, showcases Emirati identity through contemporary artistic forms, and contributes to talent development and professional performance standards.

The concert is part of a series of musical and artistic events organized by the UAE National Orchestra across the country. These events aim to broaden cultural participation and present musical experiences inspired by national heritage and innovation.

The programme began with a performance celebrating the UAE's musical heritage, featuring traditional forms such as Taghrouda and Ayala. It also included the premiere of the Emirati symphony 'The Beginning,' composed by Nadim Tarbeh, alongside a selection of international orchestral works.
