SCCI and SCTDA Conclude Shamsa Entertainment Park Successfully

Sharjah: The Sharjah Chamber of Commerce and Industry (SCCI) and the Sharjah Commerce and Tourism Development Authority (SCTDA) have successfully wrapped up Shamsa Entertainment Park, a highlight of this year's Sharjah Summer Promotions.

According to Emirates News Agency, the month-long event, held at Expo Centre Sharjah under the theme 'Shamsa Festival - Where Joy Shines', achieved its strategic objectives of enhancing community well-being, stimulating economic activity, and boosting tourism in the Emirate. The park, operational from July 31 to August 30, exceeded expectations by attracting thousands of visitors, including residents and tourists. It offered a range of programs and activities designed for families and children, combining fun, learning, and creativity in a specially designed environment.

Abdallah Sultan Al Owais, Chairman of SCCI, stated that the successful conclusion of Shamsa Entertainment Park aligns with the Chamber's strategic vision to launch sustainable entertainment models that complement shopping promotions and generate long-term value. He emphasized the initiative's role in enhancing Sharjah's reputation as a family destination and its contribution to the growth of retail, tourism, and entertainment sectors under the Sharjah Summer Promotions.

Khalid Jasim Al Midfa, Chairman of SCTDA, highlighted the importance of entertainment initiatives in reinforcing Sharjah's position as a leading tourism and family destination. He noted the strong connection between retail and tourism sectors and the need to create offerings that enhance Sharjah's competitiveness, stimulate tourism, and advance the Emirate's economic and social vision.

The park supported the Sharjah Summer Promotions 2025 campaign, which included over 1,000 retail outlets offering discounts up to 75% on various brands. It provided a secure environment for children, allowing families to enjoy retail offers and shopping experiences. Additionally, the initiative promoted private sector engagement and SME participation by allocating spaces for home-based businesses and entrepreneurs, including food and retail kiosks. Local and global brands benefited from the event's visibility, driving economic activity and creating growth opportunities across industries.
