Scientific Conference on Physical Readiness of Land Forces in GCC Continues in Abu Dhabi

Abu Dhabi: The Scientific Conference on Physical Readiness of Land Forces in Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) countries continued today at Erth Hotel in Abu Dhabi, attracting participation from over 45 experts and specialists in areas such as physical rehabilitation, mental health, military nutrition, and advanced technologies in military training.

According to Emirates News Agency, the conference, organized by the Ministry of Defence, is scheduled to run until 25th April 2025. The event's first two days featured 11 scientific sessions and two specialized workshops. A variety of speakers presented research papers on strategic topics, including enhanced programmes for overall readiness, psychological resilience in operational environments, and the use of artificial intelligence and wearable technologies. Other discussions focused on tactical nutrition, recovery strategies, readiness in response to climate shifts, combat fitness, and genetic testing.

The conference is part of the Ministry of Defence's initiative to strengthen the readiness of GCC land forces. By facilitating the exchange of expertise and introducing modern training concepts, the conference aims to enhance defence integration among GCC countries and improve human performance in various operational environments.
