Sharjah: The Sharjah Chamber of Commerce and Industry (SCCI) is actively participating in the Dawahi Festival, organized by the Sharjah District Affairs Department, to extend the reach of the 'Sharjah Shopping Promotions 2025-2026' campaign.
According to Emirates News Agency, the SCCI has established a joint platform in collaboration with the Sharjah Commerce and Tourism Development Authority (SCTDA) to support visitor engagement objectives and enhance promotional outreach during the festival, which commenced on December 5 at Al Qarain Park. This participation aligns with the strategic goal of targeting diverse consumer segments by engaging in high-traffic community events with strong family appeal.
The SCCI has transformed its presence at the Dawahi Festival into a comprehensive promotional and interactive platform, designed to effectively market Sharjah Shopping Promotions and raise awareness of the major prize draws during the emirate's flagship retail season. The platform offers a curated programme that combines entertainment with economic promotion, attracting high participation in interactive workshops and live competitions that reward visitors instantly.
The festival also featured the iconic character 'Shamsa,' representing Sharjah Shopping Promotions, which attracted children and families for memorable photos, alongside a variety of interactive games.
Jamal Saeed Bouzanjal, Director of the Corporate Communication Department at SCCI, highlighted that the Chamber's participation in the 14th Dawahi Festival underscores its dedication to establishing direct communication channels with the public and enhancing the visibility of Sharjah Shopping Promotions in a family-friendly entertainment environment. He emphasized that the festival serves as a strategic platform for reaching a broad consumer base in a socially engaging and informative setting, thereby supporting retail sector activity and promoting domestic tourism.
Through its strategic involvement in the Dawahi Festival, the Sharjah Chamber aims to maintain public engagement with Sharjah Shopping Promotions, which continue until 25 March 2026. The focus is on familiarizing visitors with the procedures for entering grand prize draws and cash rewards.
The Chamber also promoted the flagship 'Wall of Lockers' event, a large-scale interactive attraction where shoppers unlock compartments to win immediate, high-value prizes such as advanced smart devices, shopping vouchers, and cash incentives.
Sharjah Shopping Promotions will proceed across the emirate's premier shopping destinations, offering visitors opportunities to win instant prizes and enjoy engaging retail experiences. Upcoming events are scheduled at Mega Mall on December 27-28, Sahara Centre on January 3-4, 2026, and Al Wahah Mall on January 10-11, 2026, culminating in the grand draw on January 15, distributing AED 100,000 in shopping vouchers among ten winners.
