According to Emirates News Agency, the Sharjah Excellence Award, organized annually by the Sharjah Chamber of Commerce and Industry (SCCI) under the patronage of H.H. Sheikh Sultan bin Mohammad bin Sultan Al Qasimi, aims to strengthen its regional presence. The Board discussed improvements to the Award's digital platform and marketing outreach in local and GCC markets to reinforce its impact.
The meeting, chaired by H.E. Abdallah Sultan Al Owais, Chairman of SCCI and the Award's Board of Trustees, included participation from the Award Board members, Nada Al Hajri, General Coordinator of the Award, and representatives from the General Secretariat. A significant focus was on aligning the 2025 evaluation teams with the new global model through targeted training programs.
The Board reviewed participant growth and category representation, proposing sector-specific recognition to highlight institutional excellence and industry benchmarking. H.E. Abdallah Sultan Al Owais commended the team's efforts and the growing participation in the 2025 edition, underscoring the Award's role as a regional platform for institutional innovation.
