Rabat: TRENDS Group, through its virtual office in Morocco, is participating in the 31st International Publishing and Book Fair in Rabat, taking place from April 30 to May 10 at the OLM Souissi venue. The Group is showcasing over 450 publications, including scientific series, research papers, and studies in fields such as economics, geopolitics, technology, politics, and social sciences.
According to Emirates News Agency, this marks TRENDS' second consecutive participation in the fair, which coincides with Rabat being selected as World Book Capital 2026. TRENDS' pavilion will celebrate this occasion by launching new titles and organizing knowledge-driven events and intellectual discussions with representatives from think tanks and academic, research, and scientific institutions in North Africa. The Group also plans to explore international publishing partnerships to support the publishing ecosystem and advance knowledge both regionally and globally.
This edition of the fair, organized by Morocco's Ministry of Youth, Culture, and Communication, features participation from more than 891 publishing houses and cultural and intellectual institutions from over 61 countries. France is the guest of honour, and the event hosts a lineup of thinkers, researchers, and writers from around the world.
TRENDS Group stated that its participation underscores its commitment to disseminating specialized knowledge and making research more accessible, particularly in areas like strategy, technology, and economics. The Group aims to support publishing and translation, encourage intellectual output, and expand engagement with readers and research communities in North Africa while facilitating cooperation with publishers and academic institutions.
Rawdha Al-Marzooqi, a researcher and Director of Distribution and Exhibitions at TRENDS Group, mentioned that their participation goes beyond showcasing publications to fostering an interactive environment that promotes reading, creative thinking, and knowledge awareness, alongside the launch of new titles.
