Sharjah: The jury of the Sharjah Government Communication Award convened for the first meeting of its 13th edition at Al Majaz Theatre in Sharjah. The session focused on reviewing the award's categories, judging criteria, and evaluation mechanisms, ensuring they align with the latest developments in the communication and media sector.
According to Emirates News Agency, Tariq Saeed Allay, Director General of the Sharjah Government Media Bureau, emphasized that the upcoming edition will focus more on the impact and sustainable outcomes of initiatives, along with the quality of planning and implementation. The meeting also included a discussion on a newly developed voting system by the Bureau and the integration of digital technologies and artificial intelligence. These advancements aim to enhance submission and evaluation processes, reflecting the UAE's commitment to its AI adoption strategy.
The jury members reiterated that the award serves as a benchmark for excellence in government communication. The award remains dedicated to recognizing the most innovative and impactful communication initiatives both locally and internationally.
