Sharjah: His Highness Sheikh Dr Sultan bin Mohammed Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah, has officially endorsed a new organisational framework for the Sharjah Archives through an Emiri Decree. This significant development aims to streamline and enhance the operational capacities of the Sharjah National Archives.
According to Emirates News Agency, the decree outlines a comprehensive organisational structure and mandates the Executive Council to implement the necessary actions. The new framework will see the establishment of a detailed organisational plan, which includes the approval of job descriptions for various units within the agency, ensuring alignment with the archive's mandate.
Further, the decree allows for the creation, merging, or dissolution of organisational units related to the departments specified in the general structure. This move is set to optimise the functionality and efficiency of the Sharjah National Archives, reflecting the Ruler's commitment to preserving the emirate's historical records and heritage.
