Sharjah: His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Mohammed Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah, has issued an Emiri Decree that officially integrates Al Muntada Al Islami into the Department of Islamic Affairs (DIA) in Sharjah. The decree provides a clear directive for Al Muntada Al Islami to operate under the Department of Islamic Affairs, reporting directly to the Chairman within the established organizational framework.
According to Emirates News Agency, the decree mandates the transfer of all rights, assets, properties, and obligations of Al Muntada Al Islami to the Department of Islamic Affairs. This move aims to centralize the management and oversight of Al Muntada Al Islami's activities under the Department's jurisdiction.
Furthermore, the decree ensures that all employees of Al Muntada Al Islami will be retained within the Department of Islamic Affairs. Their existing grades and financial benefits will be preserved, and they will be subject to the regulations outlined in the Sharjah Government Human Resources Law, ensuring a smooth transition and continuity for the employees.
