Sharjah Ruler Orders Swift Solutions for Employee Humanitarian Cases

Sharjah: H.H. Sheikh Dr Sultan bin Mohammed Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah, has directed Abdullah Ibrahim Al Zaabi, Chairman of the Sharjah Department of Human Resources, to find swift solutions for humanitarian cases among employees. He instructed the establishment of a flexible mechanism to address these cases, with immediate solutions to be provided through a dedicated department within the Human Resources Department.

According to Emirates News Agency, the directive was in response to a caller on the 'Direct Line' programme, Amal Al Junaibi, who shared her predicament as an employee of the Government of Sharjah. Her husband, a person of determination, requires frequent hospital visits and surgery assistance. Despite submitting necessary documents, she faced deductions in her leave balance and salary. H.H. Sheikh Dr Sultan clarified that the action taken against Amal violated existing regulations and ordered immediate intervention by Abdullah Ibrahim Al Zaabi.

Following the Ruler's directives, the Chairman assured Amal Al Junaibi that her case would be reviewed, and her leave balance restored. He emphasized that Sharjah's human resources laws consider humanitarian conditions and pledged a fast mechanism for similar cases.

In another call, H.H. Sheikh Dr Sultan addressed a sewage issue affecting Amer from Kalba due to nearby apartment buildings. He confirmed that residents would be relocated to a new residential complex within six months as part of the development plan. A new lodge in Kalba, similar to 'Al Rayaheen Retreat,' is also set to open, enhancing the area's development.

In a further humanitarian gesture, H.H. Sheikh Dr Sultan directed the Emiri Court to cover one academic year's tuition for the daughter of Fatima Mohammed from Kalba, studying in Australia. Additionally, he instructed Rashid Ahmed bin Al Sheikh to contact the Friends of Patients Society to resume medical assistance for Umm Abdulrahman, who is facing health and financial challenges.
