Sharjah Women’s Sports to Host Ta’allaq Conference on Integrating Movement into Education

Sharjah: Sharjah Women's Sports has announced the opening of submissions for research papers for the second edition of the International Scientific Sports Conference 'Ta'allaq', which is set to take place on 7th February 2026 at Al Razi Hall, University of Sharjah. The conference aims to create a specialized platform that connects academic research with practical application in the field of women's sports.

According to Emirates News Agency, the Ta'allaq Conference will be part of the eighth edition of the Arab Women's Clubs Games. It is designed to attract leading academics, researchers, and experts in sports medicine and science, as well as coaches, referees, and other professionals interested in advancing women's athletic performance on both regional and international levels.

The upcoming 2026 edition will center around the theme 'Integrating Movement into Education'. This theme emphasizes promoting holistic health and quality of life through a scientific approach that supports effective and sustainable educational models grounded in evidence-based practice.

Maryam Al Shehi, a physiologist at the Scientific Research and Sports Performance Development Centre of the Foundation, highlighted the conference's core belief that movement is essential to integrated health and balanced growth. She noted that incorporating movement into education enhances physical, mental, and social well-being, aligning with the conference's goals.
