Strata Manufacturing and Embraer Forge Strategic Partnership to Enhance Commercial Aircraft Aerostructures

Abu dhabi: Strata Manufacturing PJSC (Strata), a wholly owned company of Mubadala Investment Company, and Embraer, a global aerospace company based in Brazil, have entered into a Memorandum of Agreement (MoA) to bolster collaboration in the field of advanced aerospace manufacturing at the Farnborough International Airshow 2026.

According to Emirates News Agency, the agreement sets a framework for evaluating the potential supply of advanced composite aerostructures from Strata for Embraer's commercial aircraft programs. This collaboration will focus on assessing work packages for the Embraer E2 family of aircraft, following a structured roadmap of technical, commercial, and contractual milestones.

Beyond the E2 program, the MoA reflects mutual intentions to explore collaboration across other Embraer aircraft platforms. This agreement highlights Strata's ongoing global expansion in the aerospace sector and aligns with its strategy of forging long-term partnerships with leading aircraft manufacturers. It also aims to position the UAE as a competitive hub for advanced aerospace manufacturing, contributing to the diversification and resilience of international aerospace supply chains.

Sara Abdulla AlMemari, Acting CEO of Strata, emphasized the significance of the agreement, stating that it represents a vital step in expanding Strata's global partnerships and showcasing its advanced composite manufacturing capabilities. Roberto Chaves, Executive VP, Global Procurement and Supply Chain of Embraer, acknowledged Strata's established reputation as a trusted aerospace manufacturer and expressed optimism about evaluating new opportunities to strengthen Embraer's global supply chain.

The signing of the MoA at the Farnborough International Airshow 2026 underlines the strategic role of international partnerships in driving innovation, enhancing industrial capabilities, and supporting the long-term growth of the global aerospace sector.
