Osaka: A delegation from the Supreme Council for Motherhood and Childhood participated in a panel discussion organised by the UAE Pavilion at Expo 2025 Osaka. The delegation's visit to Japan was conducted under the directives of H.H. Sheikha Fatima bint Mubarak, Chairwoman of the General Women's Union, President of the Supreme Council for Motherhood and Childhood, and Supreme Chairwoman of the Family Development Foundation.
According to Emirates News Agency, during the panel session, participants shared their experiences in sustainability and innovative projects, emphasizing the UAE's leadership role in empowering Emirati youth to excel and contribute to impactful community initiatives. The UAE's leadership was highlighted as a central factor driving the success of these endeavors.
Following the session, Mariam Al Memari, Head of the UAE Expo Office, welcomed the delegation at the UAE Pavilion. She praised their participation in the global event, acknowledging their efforts to project a positive and inspiring image of the UAE's children and the care and empowerment they receive under national leadership.
The delegation also explored other national pavilions, including the Saudi Arabia Pavilion, which emphasizes the Kingdom's Vision 2030 in supporting families, children, and education, as well as preparations for the upcoming World Expo. Additionally, they visited the Australia Pavilion, showcasing initiatives in environmental sustainability, creative education, and sustainable development, and the Germany Pavilion, which focuses on sustainable environmental economics, educational innovation, and the integration of technology in learning.
