Takala and Bathily discuss the political impasse.

Tripoli: Head of the High Council of State, Mohamed Takala, discussed with UN Envoy Abdoulaye Bathily the developments of the political process in the country. The meeting, which was held at the council's headquarters in Tripoli in the presence of First Representative Masoud Obaid and Council Rapporteur Belkacem Dabarz, discussed the meeting sponsored by the League of Arab States to resolve the political impasse and take Libya to a safe, democratic, and consensual path to hold national fair and transparent elections that meet the aspirations of the Libyan people.
