Dubai: Under the patronage of H.H. Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai, Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Defence, and Chairman of the Executive Council of Dubai, the 10th edition of the Dubai International Project Management Forum (DIPMF) will commence on Wednesday, 14th January 2025. Held at Madinat Jumeirah under the theme "Sustainable Future," the event will host an elite group of global figures, renowned speakers, heads of entities and organisations, and leaders of major international companies specialising in project management.
According to Emirates News Agency, Dubai's Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) has confirmed Dubai Electricity and Water Authority (DEWA), DP World, Emaar Properties PJSC, and the Project Management Institute (PMI) as co-organisers of the forum. Mattar Al Tayer, Director-General, Chairman of the Board of Executive Directors of RTA, noted the forum's success over the years, highlighting its role as a premier global platform that attracts experts to share best practices and propose creative solutions in project management.
Saeed Mohammed Al Tayer, MD and CEO of DEWA, emphasized the vision and directives of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, stating that Dubai has become a global role model for innovative mega-projects. He highlighted DEWA's achievements, noting its global leadership positions and its ranking in key performance indicators.
Mohamed Ali Alabbar, Founder of Emaar and Noon, emphasized the importance of innovative project management in shaping sustainable cities and driving transformation. He highlighted the forum's role in empowering leaders to deliver impactful and transformative projects for future generations.
Sultan Ahmed bin Sulayem, DP World's Group Chairman and CEO, discussed the company's commitment to excellence and sustainability. He announced the relocation of DP World's global headquarters to Expo City Dubai, reinforcing the company's dedication to innovation and global trade advancement.
Pierre Le Manh, President and CEO of PMI, emphasized the role of the forum in advancing the vision of project work and empowering professionals to improve outcomes and elevate the profession.
The forum will address important topics such as sustainable project management, future cities, leadership, AI and big data, and blockchain technology. It will also explore themes like efficiency, remote project management, and future trends in the field.
The 10th edition features a panel of distinguished speakers, including Abdulla bin Touq Al Marri, Alia Abdulla Al Mazrouei, Pierre Le Manh, Mohamed Ali Alabbar, Dr. Aisha Bin Bishr, and keynote speaker Ars¨ne Wenger.
