Abu Dhabi: TRENDS Research and Advisory has unveiled an ambitious plan to open 25 offices worldwide by the end of 2025. This initiative aims to enhance the organization's global presence and bolster its role in advancing scientific research and knowledge exchange from the UAE to the international community.
According to Emirates News Agency, Dr. Mohammed Abdullah Al Ali, CEO of TRENDS, announced during the Governance of Emerging Technologies Summit 2025 that the expansion will include both physical and virtual offices in various global capitals and cities in the coming months. The organization plans to open official offices in Rome and Paris in the latter half of the year, with preparations underway for a new office in Sydney, Australia.
Dr. Al Ali stated that TRENDS currently operates 20 offices around the world, both physical and virtual, with recent additions in Washington and Buenos Aires, marking its presence in Latin America. These offices aim to expand networks with researchers and global think tanks while enhancing the UAE's role in global knowledge dialogue.
Furthermore, TRENDS has recently signed a cooperation agreement with the National Defence College in Argentina, paving the way for a joint scientific conference with the UAE National Defence College. On the sidelines of the summit, TRENDS also entered into an agreement with X Hub Holding, encompassing companies specializing in artificial intelligence, technology, and research, to support studies with data and statistics.
Dr. Al Ali noted that the first outcome of the collaboration with X Hub Holding will be a public opinion survey in Al Ain, set to be conducted soon.
