Baghdad, Two earthquakes hit Diyala Governorate in northeast of Iraq.
The Iraqi Ministry of Transport said in statement that the seismic observatory at the General Authority for Meteorology and Seismic monitored two earthquakes occurred in Diyala Governorate.
The first earthquake of 4.1 magnitude occurred about 1 km east of Khanaqin, while the second of 3.1 magnitude located 2 km east of Khanaqin, the statement said.
There were no reports of casualties or material damage, according to statement.
On Oct. 9, an earthquake measuring 4.5 on the Richter scale struck southeast of Khanaqin.
