According to Emirates News Agency, the conversation focused on Iranian attacks targeting the UAE and other regional countries. These attacks, directed at civilians and critical infrastructure, were deemed violations of sovereignty and international law. President Subianto expressed Indonesia's condemnation of these terrorist acts and affirmed solidarity with the UAE. He supported the UAE's measures to maintain security and ensure the well-being of its citizens and residents.
Both leaders highlighted the necessity for an immediate cessation of military escalations and emphasized the importance of dialogue and diplomacy in resolving regional issues. The aim is to safeguard security and stability and avert further crises.
The discussion also covered UAE-Indonesia cooperation, with both leaders committed to enhancing bilateral relations. This commitment aligns with their development goals and mutual interests under the Comprehensive Economic Partnership framework.
