Cairo: The UAE chaired the 10th meeting of the Committee for the Development of the Arab Tourism Strategy, held today at the headquarters of the General Secretariat of the Arab League in Cairo. The focus of the meeting was on implementing the fifth tenet of the Arab Tourism Strategy, which is dedicated to "Tourism Development and Investment." According to Emirates News Agency, the meeting was presided over by Mohamed Saleh Shalwah, Adviser to the UAE Minister of Economy, with representatives from various Arab countries participating. Dr. Bahjat Abu Al-Nasr, Director of the Transport and Tourism Department at the Arab League, stated that the two-day meeting is dedicated to addressing the challenges that hinder the implementation of the Arab Tourism Strategy.
