Abu dhabi: UAE President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, along with sheikhs and guests of the UAE, participated in the March of the Union to commemorate the UAE's 54th Eid Al Etihad. The event, organized by the Presidential Court, featured tribesmen from across the nation and was part of the Sheikh Zayed Festival 2025 in Al Wathba, Abu Dhabi.
According to Emirates News Agency, the attendees included prominent figures such as His Highness Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Vice President, Deputy Prime Minister and Chairman of the Presidential Court; His Highness Sheikh Khaled bin Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi; and other esteemed sheikhs and senior officials. Citizens and guests also joined the celebration.
His Highness the President greeted the participants and expressed his delight at the display of national unity. He highlighted the UAE's strength derived from its people and their shared commitment to the nation. The President conveyed confidence in the UAE's continued prosperity and promising future.
The event saw tribesmen marching from Al Hosn Gate, proudly waving flags and singing traditional songs in support of the union and the country's leadership. The celebration included the national anthem, traditional Emirati group performances, horse and camel displays, and cultural presentations. The Open Masters Games Abu Dhabi 2026 and performances by a troupe from the Republic of Azerbaijan added to the festivities. The UAE's Al Fursan aerobatic team also performed an aerial display with smoke in the national flag's colors.
The March concluded with several sheikhs joining Emiratis in a shared atmosphere of pride and celebration.
