UAE, Mauritania enhance cooperation in Islamic affairs

ABU DHABI: Dr. Omar Habtoor Al Darei, Chairman of the General Authority of Islamic Affairs, Endowments, and Zakat, discussed aspects of cooperation between the UAE and the Republic of Mauritania in the field of Islamic affairs with senior Mauritanian officials. They also explored ways to enhance communication and coordination to achieve common goals. This took place during Dr. Al Darei's visit to the Republic of Mauritania, where he met with Prime Minister Mokhtar Ould Djay and Sidi Yahya Ould Cheikhna Ould Lemrabet, Minister of Islamic Affairs and Original Education.
