Abu dhabi: UAE President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan received a phone call from South African President Cyril Ramaphosa to discuss military and security developments in the region, highlighting the threat to regional and international peace and security.
According to Emirates News Agency, President Ramaphosa condemned the Iranian attacks targeting the UAE and other regional countries, describing them as a violation of international law and the UN Charter. Sheikh Mohamed expressed gratitude for Ramaphosa's supportive stance towards the UAE. Both leaders emphasized the need for an immediate halt to military escalation and advocated for diplomatic solutions to prevent further crises, considering the risks to security, stability, and potential impacts on trade and the global economy.
