Abu dhabi: President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan today welcomed Prince Rahim Al-Hussaini Aga Khan, the global spiritual leader of the Ismaili community, at Qasr Al Shati. The meeting focused on the significance of fostering shared human values and enhancing a culture of coexistence and meaningful dialogue among different civilizations, cultures, and peoples worldwide.
According to Emirates News Agency, Prince Rahim Aga Khan commended the UAE's model of embracing cultural diversity and promoting societal coexistence. He lauded the humanitarian approach of His Highness the UAE President, noting the far-reaching initiatives aimed at supporting peace and development. Prince Rahim highlighted efforts to improve quality of life and advance communities globally.
The meeting saw the presence of H.H. Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Chairman of the Presidential Court for Special Affairs; Sheikh Mohammed bin Hamad bin Tahnoun Al Nahyan, Adviser to the UAE President; Reem bint Ebrahim Al Hashimy, Minister of State for International Cooperation; Dr. Ahmed Mubarak Al Mazrouei, Chairman of the President's Office for Strategic Affairs and Chairman of the Abu Dhabi Executive Office, along with several officials and members of the delegation accompanying Prince Rahim Al-Hussaini Aga Khan.
