RAMALLAH: Generally clear to partially cloudy skies are expected today in Palestine with a no change in temperature but the weather remains relatively cold in the mountainous areas and warm in the rest of the country, according to the Palestinian Meteorological Department. Winds are easterly to northeasterly, light to moderate, and sea waves are low. A slight drop in temperature is expected on Thursday, which remains the same on Friday and Saturday, said the PMD. Source: Palestine News and Information Agency – WAFA Tripoli: The Minister of Labor and Rehabilitation in the National Unity Government, Ali Al-Abed Al-Rida, stressed the necessity of unifying databases with the Nationality Passports and Foreigners Affairs Department, and activating work on the 'Wafed' platform with the interfaces proposed by both parties. This came during the minister's meeting today, Wednesday, at the ministry's office in the capital, Tripoli, with the head of the Passports, Nationality and Foreigners Affairs Department, Major General Youssef Murad. During the meeting, the two parties agreed to continue cooperation between the Labor Inspection and Occupational Safety Department and the Passport Investigation Department to control the labor market, also in coordination with labor offices in municipalities.
