Al dhafra: Sheikh Yas bin Hamdan bin Zayed Al Nahyan has opened the Emirate Red Crescent Authority's Al Ghadeer Emirati Crafts Project Pavilion at the Liwa International Festival 2026, which is being held in the Al Dhafra Region and will run until 3 January 2026. The pavilion is dedicated to showcasing the UAE's national identity, enhancing cultural heritage, and promoting the sustainability of Emirati crafts.
According to Emirates News Agency, Sheikh Yas bin Hamdan bin Zayed toured the pavilion, engaging with Emirati artisans who are presenting their contemporary and authentic crafts. The event underscores the creativity of UAE Nationals and emphasizes the importance of traditional industries in the national economy. It also plays a vital role in transferring traditional skills to younger generations, ensuring the continuation of these crafts.
