Abu Dhabi: The value of China's international trade in goods and services reached 4.37 trillion yuan (US$ 606.8 billion) in April, marking a 6% increase compared to the same period last year, according to official data.
According to Emirates News Agency, in U.S. dollar terms, China's exports of goods and services amounted to US$ 326.5 billion, while imports totaled US$ 280.3 billion. This led to a trade surplus of US$ 46.2 billion, as reported by the State Administration of Foreign Exchange and disseminated by Xinhua news agency.
Breaking down the figures, the export value of goods was recorded at 2.1 trillion yuan, with imports valued at 1.65 trillion yuan, resulting in a surplus of 446.4 billion yuan. In terms of services, the export value reached 250.5 billion yuan, while the import value was 364.4 billion yuan in April, leading to a deficit of 113.8 billion yuan.
