Cairo: The Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum Knowledge Foundation (MBRF) will participate in the 57th edition of the Cairo International Book Fair (CIBF), scheduled from 21st January to 3rd February 2026, at the Egypt International Exhibitions Centre (EIEC).
According to Emirates News Agency, MBRF's involvement in this prestigious literary event aligns with its ongoing mission to foster intellectual dialogue and strengthen its presence at significant knowledge events worldwide. MBRF plans to showcase its knowledge-based projects and initiatives, promoting its publications across various fields through a diverse lineup of events, workshops, intellectual discussion sessions, and interactive activities.
Jamal bin Huwaireb, CEO of MBRF, emphasized the importance of participating in CIBF, describing it as a crucial platform for boosting global knowledge movement and promoting sustainable development. He highlighted MBRF's commitment to advancing knowledge and the book and publishing sector to create societies driven by knowledge and innovation.
During the fair, MBRF's Knowledge Lounge initiative will facilitate engagement between writers and readers, offering discussions, workshops, and gatherings with media professionals. These activities aim to foster creativity and the exchange of experiences, enhancing the intellectual movement across the Arab knowledge landscape.
The Dubai International Programme for Writing (DIPW) will also host events to support literary talents and advance writing and creativity in the region. The sessions and workshops will encourage participants, both adults and children, to engage and share their creative experiences.
Additionally, MBRF will feature its KnowTalks initiative, hosting global thought leaders to discuss key knowledge and development challenges. The Digital Knowledge Hub (DKH) will explore content creation and digital platforms, focusing on the future of digital knowledge through its sessions and workshops.
