New Edition of Executive Education Programme in Government Communication Unveiled in UK

London: The UAE Government Media Office, in collaboration with London Business School, introduced a new edition of the Executive Education Programme in Government Communication in the United Kingdom. This initiative sees the participation of 30 leaders and specialists from federal government communication departments. The four-day programme is designed to bolster national capabilities in strategic communication, media management, and digital engagement, while also enhancing the readiness of government communication teams to adapt to global shifts in the digital and media landscape.

According to Emirates News Agency, Saeed Al Eter, Deputy Minister of Cabinet Affairs for Strategic Projects and Chairman of the UAE Government Media Office, emphasized that the programme reflects the leadership's vision for an advanced and agile government communication system driven by national talent. Al Eter highlighted that this initiative is a strategic move to develop communication leaders who are well-equipped with the necessary knowledge and tools to navigate complex media environments, manage national campaigns, and responsibly utilize artificial intelligence in communication practices.

Al Eter further elaborated that the programme transcends traditional training by offering a comprehensive platform that combines advanced theoretical knowledge with practical application. 'It reflects our belief that impactful communication begins with empowered professionals capable of shaping narratives, analysing data, and delivering the UAE's message to the world with confidence and credibility,' he stated.

The programme's agenda features specialized sessions on strategic communication planning, audience analysis, and reputation management, along with workshops focused on storytelling, combating misinformation, and employing data analytics and AI to improve decision-making and communication effectiveness. Participants will also have the opportunity to engage in discussions with global experts on the latest trends and innovations in communication strategy.

Khadija Hussain, Executive Director of the Government Communication Sector at the UAE Government Media Office, affirmed that enhancing the capabilities of government communication teams is a continuous priority. This ensures they remain aligned with rapid developments in content and technology, thereby effectively supporting national objectives. Hussain noted that advancing the government communication ecosystem necessitates investing in national talent equipped with modern skills, capable of developing impactful initiatives and clearly conveying government messages to both the public and the global audience.
