Supreme Organising Committee Unveils Official Logo for Open Masters Games Abu Dhabi 2026

Abu Dhabi: The Supreme Organising Committee of the Open Masters Games Abu Dhabi 2026, led by H.H. Sheikh Theyab bin Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, has revealed the official logo for the event.

According to Emirates News Agency, the logo is inspired by the UAE's diverse natural environment, reflecting the country's identity and core values. The design integrates elements from deserts, mountains, and coastal waters, symbolizing the unity and collaboration that the event aims to promote.

The logo also incorporates iconic UAE landmarks like the Zayed National Museum, Zayed Sports City, and the Museum of the Future. These elements are represented through forms that resemble sea waves and sand dunes, highlighting values such as resilience and ambition. Sheikh Theyab bin Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan emphasized that the event aligns with the vision of President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, who prioritizes healthy lifestyles and longevity for all.

Sheikh Theyab also highlighted the UAE's commitment to the growth of its sports sector and its ability to host world-class events. The games are seen as a platform for international engagement and a testament to the country's reputation for fostering social cohesion. The UAE's strategic location, modern infrastructure, and advanced sports facilities make it an ideal setting for such events.

Sergei Bubka, President of the International Masters Games Association, praised the UAE for hosting the event, noting that it strengthens the country's position as a trusted venue for global events. The Open Masters Games Abu Dhabi 2026 will be a significant gathering, featuring over 25,000 participants across 33 sports, including traditional Emirati disciplines and sports open to People of Determination.

The event, scheduled from February 6 to 15, 2026, will offer a range of sports for all ages and abilities. These include precision sports, team competitions, individual disciplines, combat sports, water events, and additional activities like camel racing and traditional falconry. The games aim to celebrate movement and the UAE's values of tolerance and openness to all cultures.
